I decided to eat breakfast while I cleaned up and then change for my run. Breakfast when I’m doing a run is always the same. Why fix it if it ain’t broke, right? I had coffee and toast with almond butter and honey.
Today’s run was GREAT but very hot. Which is ridiculous because when I started it was 47 degrees. Stinkin Arizona. By the time I get used to it here I’m going to have to move. Anywho, I left this morning with a goal of running for 40 mins. I ran for 45 and hit 4.2 miles. YAY! I’m extremely ok with that. It’s not that fast but speed will come with endurance and speed drills. I’m just happy I was able to do it, especially after last weeks attempt at 4. It did end up being a fun run though because I spent the majority of it on the dirt trails around my housing area. It was nice and soft and felt very secluded which I liked a lot. Anyway, this is what I have to look forward to tomorrow
I’m currently in Sky Harbor Airport waiting for my flight to Indy. Yay! Christmas at home. The weather should make for some interesting runs this week. I’m excited
