I decided to eat breakfast while I cleaned up and then change for my run. Breakfast when I’m doing a run is always the same. Why fix it if it ain’t broke, right? I had coffee and toast with almond butter and honey.
Today’s run was GREAT but very hot. Which is ridiculous because when I started it was 47 degrees. Stinkin Arizona. By the time I get used to it here I’m going to have to move. Anywho, I left this morning with a goal of running for 40 mins. I ran for 45 and hit 4.2 miles. YAY! I’m extremely ok with that. It’s not that fast but speed will come with endurance and speed drills. I’m just happy I was able to do it, especially after last weeks attempt at 4. It did end up being a fun run though because I spent the majority of it on the dirt trails around my housing area. It was nice and soft and felt very secluded which I liked a lot. Anyway, this is what I have to look forward to tomorrow :)
I’m currently in Sky Harbor Airport waiting for my flight to Indy. Yay! Christmas at home. The weather should make for some interesting runs this week. I’m excited :)
